We have a responsibility to expand our biblical knowledge & understanding, and become the teachers of God’s word (Hebrews 5:12-14), emulating the example of Christ (Luke 2:52). As our head grows with the knowledge & understanding of the Bible, the application of God’s wisdom touches our hearts and our hands are enabled to a life of service in God’s kingdom.
James exhorts us to deepen our understanding of “The wisdom that is from above (that) is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, willing to yield, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality and without hypocrisy.” (James 3:17).
